You could have sewn the white squares on top of the colored ones, for mini-strip piecing. Would have saved you a LITTLE bit of frustration later with all those tiny pieces! :) Excited to see how it turns out!

Rachel from p.s. i quilt recently hosted a quilt along for a postage stamp quilt. That was the first time I made one and her instructions made it come together so easily. We started with a jelly roll of print and one of a solid and went from there. I'll be quilting mine next week on the long arm! Can't wait to finish it!

I lost my quilting mojo since early 2011 and it finally returned last week. I have been finishing last years quilts and began a new top.

Thanks for the link to Oh! Fransson's postage quilt. It has been around for ages and I just love it. I had a stack of about six different prints and I may end up doing this (originally a Sudoku top or a sampler quilt. We'll see how it goes later).
